Several animals rescued from house fire in Fort Lauderdale

FORT LAUDERDALE, Florida. (WSVN) – An emergency where flames swept through a house inhabited by animals.

A fire broke out on North Victoria Park Road in Fort Lauderdale on Monday evening.

Investigators believe it all started in the kitchen.

Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire and set themselves the task of saving the animals.

They rescued a dog, a cat and a turtle.

The cause of the fire is being investigated.
