San Jose is hosting the US Figure Skating Championships.

The U.S. Figure Skating Championships took place on Thursday at the SAP Center in San Jose, and the competition may be a preview of the athletes representing Team USA at the Milan 2026 Olympics.

Figure skaters to watch this week in the women’s rankings include Olympic bronze medalist Brady Tenell, Starr Andrews, Alexa Gasparotto and Amber Glenn.

Reigning US champions Madison Chalk and Evan Bates are favorites for the ice dancing competition.

In the men’s category, look out for Jason Brown, who has been to the Olympics twice before, and Ilya Malinin, whose parents are both Olympic skaters.
