San Francisco reaches full rainy season

The full rainy season began on Saturday afternoon, according to a well-known and respected meteorologist from the San Francisco Bay Area.

As of 2:00 p.m. Saturday, San Francisco had its entire season’s rainfall, Ian Null, a certified consulting meteorologist at Golden Gate Weather Services, said Saturday night.

Null said San Francisco received 22.89 inches of rain during the current season, which ends June 30. This corresponds to a full season of normal rainfall in the city.

The winter season was one of the rainiest on record.

Rain has been falling all over the bay since Saturday morning. More rainfall is expected.
