San Diego API Community Takes City Hall Decision on Recent California Shooting

SAN DIEGO (CUSI). The Asia-Pacific Islanders Initiative will hold a general meeting on Saturday, January 29 in response to the recent violence in California.
In less than a week, three shootings took place during the Lunar New Year celebrations, including a shooting in Monterey Park that left 11 people dead and several injured.
Joanne Fields of the API Initiative joined Hunter Sowards of KUSI to discuss what the group hopes to accomplish during and after the meeting.
