Episoft now allows users of its medical oncology and administration platform to upload treatment cycle summaries directly to My Health Record.

The healthcare information technology developer has been working with the Australian Digital Health Agency to integrate its platform with MHR, according to a press release.

Unichem and Life Pharmacy launch one app

Pharmacy brands Green Cross Health Unichem and Life Pharmacy have introduced a single mobile application for ordering medicines.

Available on iOS and Android devices, the Unichem and Life Pharmacy app connects consumers to their local pharmacy, which in turn can access their personal medication records in real time.

Other features of the app include reminders for medications, pre-orders, and pharmacy bookings. It also has a care mode that allows the patient’s family members to manage their medications on their behalf.

The app, according to Green Cross Health, replaces the old text alert system Unichem and Life Pharmacy used to offer their customers to remind them of their next collection of prescription drugs. “Our new app is like having a pharmacy in your pocket,” said Alison Van Wyck, COO of Unichem and Life Pharmacy Group.
