Chang Gong Memorial Hospital is the first in Taiwan to implement AI-based customer service

Chang Gong Memorial Hospital has become the first medical institution in Taiwan to be equipped with AI-based text and intelligent voice customer service.

A 10,000-bed hospital, one of the largest medical centers in Taiwan, has adopted SysTalk.Chat from local software provider TPIsoftware to transform the patient experience.

Since trialing AI technology last year, Apo AI voice agent has helped more than 80,000 patients per month with their requests for appointment times, hospital stays and medical information. He also made outbound patient calls for travel history, occupation, contacts, and clusters to track more than 18,000 patients each month.

“We are excited to implement TPIsoftware’s SysTalk.Chat to streamline customer interactions and establish seamless communication between the hospital and patients,” commented Chia-Hao Li, Health Information Department Manager at Chang Gong Memorial Hospital.
