Round Rock Pools Ready for Memorial Day Weekend
Summer is just around the corner, and the City of Round Rock cannot wait for the sunlight and warmth to make a splash across its outdoor venues. As such, the city of Round Rock has made official announcements for the opening and operational hours of its three major water parks and pools this upcoming season, welcoming all members of the community to come and enjoy their facilities in an atmosphere of fun and recreation.
Starting the season off with a splash, both Rock’n River Water Park and Micki Krebsbach Pool will be operational from May 26th, 2023. While Rock’n River Water Park will maintain its operational hours every day in summer except for Wednesdays, Micki Krebsbach Pool will stay closed on Tuesdays throughout the summer. Meanwhile, for Lake Creek Pool, the fun begins on June 6th.
Situated in pristine locations, Rock’n River Water Park and Micki Krebsbach have varying hours of operations. The former, with its Memorial Weekend schedule in place, will provide enjoyable swimming hours between 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. daily until August 13th, upon which time its operational hours will change to 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends only through August 27th. On the other hand, the Micki Krebsbach Pool’s Memorial Weekend schedule ensures a relaxed dip in the pool from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. daily until August 13th, where the regular operating hours will continue to be from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
For pool enthusiasts looking for different or lesser-known recreational experiences, the city will also continue to offer an indoor pool at the Clay Madsen Recreation Center, which will be open on a year-round basis. In addition, the city is inviting everyone to experience the joy of splashing and playing in the fountain at Prete Plaza in Downtown Round Rock.
Finally, for swimmers who need additional information about season passes, rental rates, and pool rules, the city of Round Rock has provided an online resource center available on its website for easy access to all such information. Now, with the city’s operations up and running for the summer season, be sure to grab a swimsuit and towel, and make the most of this thrilling opportunity to enjoy a refreshing dip in one of Round Rock’s magnificent pools.
So, be sure to come and enjoy the fun, recreation, and relaxation at one of the city’s water parks or pools this summer, and trust us when we say that there are few experiences more rejuvenating than an afternoon spent swimming under the sun in one of the picturesque pools that the City of Round Rock has to offer.
