Dexcom brings G6 CGM to Singapore

Global CGM device manufacturer Dexcom has launched its latest CGM system in Singapore.

Dexcom G6 CGM, distributed through its partner DKSH Singapore, uses a wearable sensor and transmitter to continuously measure and wirelessly transmit glucose levels to a compatible smart device.

It pairs with a companion mobile app on iOS and Android devices to share glucose data with up to ten people, including families and healthcare teams.

The launch of the Dexcom G6 comes after it received Health Authority approval late last year and the recent opening of Dexcom’s regional headquarters in the country.


Molbio acquires majority stake in digital X-ray equipment maker Prognosys

Indian medical device unicorn company Molbio Diagnostics has acquired a 70% stake in Prognosys Medical Systems.

Prognosys develops radiology and fluoroscopy solutions under the Prorad brand. The company recently introduced a line of digital X-ray machines that provide high-quality AI-based chest imaging.

Combining it with Molbio’s Truenat testing kit will improve the diagnosis of deadly infectious and non-infectious diseases such as tuberculosis, COVID-19 and other chest diseases, Molbio said. Truenat is a WHO-approved PCR platform for healthcare delivery that can detect over 40 diseases within an hour.


2C2P provides payment options for the DKSH patient platform.

DKSH Singapore’s healthcare division has leveraged 2C2P to create new payment options for its patient experience management platform.

With this partnership, patients on the PSHere DKSH platform can now apply for discounts, installment plans and e-wallets in a “safe and compatible” way, according to a press statement.
