Rescue operation saves five dogs from devastating mobile home fire

Firefighters in Elmendorf, Texas, successfully rescued five dogs from a mobile home fire late last night. The blaze was quickly extinguished, thanks to the swift response from Bexar County Emergency Services District firefighters and the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office. The incident occurred at around 10:40 p.m. on Sunday in the 3800 block of Waterwood Pass.

Upon arrival, firefighters were met with a blazing inferno engulfing the mobile home. Despite the intense heat and flames, the rescuers managed to save five dogs that were housed in a nearby kennel area. Their valiant efforts also prevented the fire from spreading to a vehicle and a motorhome parked adjacent to the structure.

The occupants of the mobile home were fortunately not present at the time of the incident. Investigators are currently working to determine the cause of the fire, with initial suspicions pointing towards a potential origin in a chicken coop. As of now, no estimate has been provided regarding the extent of the damages caused.

This is a developing story, and further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
