Rent Lady Gaga’s former NYC duplex for $35,000 a month

The deep-pocketed little monster can live big like Lady Gaga in her former Central Park South penthouse, which is up for sale again for a steep $35,000 a month.

The 1,985-square-foot duplex at 40 Central Park South has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, stunning park views, and 750 square feet of outdoor space.

The terrace the star installed for her French bulldogs still has “a dog track with a fake fire hydrant,” says listing broker Merav Shalkhon, director of Essential New York, part of ATCO Properties, the building’s owner. . (In December, the man who shot and killed Gaga’s dog breeder while stealing her French bulldogs Asia, Koji and Gustav in 2021 made a plea bargain and was sentenced to 21 years in prison.)

A private staircase leads to a landing that opens into the trophy house. The foyer leads to a living room with a wood-burning fireplace and panoramic views of the park. There is also a dining room with its own balcony. Stairs lead to the master bedroom with another wood burning fireplace and great views, as well as a marble bathroom and dressing room. Two terraces adjoin the bedroom. The block also has two more decks for private outdoor space.

According to brokers, Gaga lived here from around 2013 to 2017, and the penthouse was “highly featured” in her 2017 documentary Gaga: Five Foot Two, adding that the apartment has a “celebrity pedigree.”

The building used to be home to Lance Armstrong as well as Rod Stewart. A famous tenant these days is TV presenter Keith Olbermann.

As for Lady Gaga, she went further and recently shared a photo of herself alongside Joaquin Phoenix in the upcoming Joker sequel Joker: Folie à Deux.
