Removing trash from Charlotte County waterways

CHARLOTT COUNTY, FL — Removal of trash from Charlotte County’s waterways will begin today, Feb. 25.

The county waterway debris removal contractor will use the South Gulf Cove Park boat ramp at 10150 Amicola St.

Boat ramp Butterford Waterway Park at 13555 Marathon Blvd. and Placida West Boat Ramp West at 12560 Placida Road will be used for garbage collection until Sunday, February 26th.

Seafarers will experience intermittent, slow boat movements and/or time delays in the unloading process.

The South Gulf Cove Park ramp will be used for demolition until Saturday, March 11th.
