‘Real Housewives’ star Jen Shah ordered to undergo mental health program after jail time

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Jen Shah has been ordered to undergo mental health treatment as part of her probation following her release from prison.

Shah, 49, was sentenced to 78 months in prison after pleading guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud. Federal prosecutors said Shah was the leader of a “nationwide telemarketing scam” that killed thousands.

She was ordered to surrender to the Federal Bureau of Prisons on February 17, according to a ruling filed last week in the US Court for the Southern District of New York.

Shah will undergo five years of supervision, which will include mental health treatment approved by the US Probation Board.

“You must continue to take any prescribed medication unless directed otherwise by your health care provider,” the order says. “You must contribute to the cost of the services provided, based on your ability to pay and the availability of third-party payments.”
