Qredo partners with Latin American Neobank and DitoBanx

Qredo, a leading provider of enterprise-grade digital asset custody solutions, today announced its partnership with DitoBanx, a neobank for non-banking banks in Latin America.

Through this partnership, DitoBanx will begin to provide its customers with secure and interoperable storage of digital assets using the decentralized multi-party computing (dMPC) Qredo protocol, which offers cryptocurrency security and governance solutions.

Widely regarded as the gold standard in digital asset storage, Qredo’s dMPC technology is at the heart of its non-custodial wallet solutions. The computational processes that occur when one of the DitoBanx clients signs a transaction will be distributed across the network. During the signing of a transaction, the private key is never stored in any one geographic location, eliminating the risk that this key will be obtained or hacked by any third party. This eliminates some of the biggest risks crypto investors face, such as losing their private keys.

As the first fintech startup in El Salvador, DitoBanx has quickly become the leading provider of digital asset solutions in the Latin American region. DitoBanx currently offers a range of products and services, such as Bitcoin-backed loans, digital asset wallets, and corporate payment processing solutions, designed to bring financial inclusion to unbanked and underbanked individuals in Latin America. Integrating Qredo digital asset custody solutions into the DitoBanx ecosystem will allow customers to manage all their financial assets in DitoBanx products, providing a secure yet hassle-free experience.

Guillermo Contreras, CEO of DitoBanx said: “Partnering with Qredo is an exciting step for DitoBanx as we strive to provide financial services to the unbanked in Latin America. The ability to offer institutional grade digital asset custody services will be a game changer for our clients, allowing them to securely store and manage their digital assets in a regulated environment.”

Anthony Foy, CEO of Qredo said: “We are thrilled to partner with DitoBanx to provide institutional grade digital asset custody solutions for non-banking banks in Latin America. Using the advanced Qredo dMPC technology, DitoBanx is now able to offer secure and regulated digital asset services to its customers, enabling them to participate in the growing digital economy.”
