Proposed Florida bill would stop dogs sticking their heads out of car windows

(WSVN) – A new Florida Senate bill has been proposed to make it illegal to allow a dog to have any part of its body outside of a vehicle.

Bill 932 aims to protect animals and will change how people are allowed to transport their dogs.

Pet owners will be required to cage their dogs or use a pet harness if the bill passes.

The bill also bans cat owners from declawing their feline companions.
