IMMOCALIE, Florida. Detectives from the Collier County Sheriff’s Office and the Bureau of Drug Enforcement arrested a known drug dealer in Immokalee Thursday afternoon.
Around 4 p.m., detectives noticed that 32-year-old Marvin Griffin Jr. had given cocaine to another man in exchange for money in the 300 block of South 2nd Street.
Griffin is a convicted felon, out on bail on charges of dealing cocaine since last year.
Detectives saw Griffin reach for a red barbecue grill that was next to him and hand the cocaine to 44-year-old Constantino Ramos.
A search of the barbecue grill revealed a backpack with 27 grams of cocaine inside.
Griffin was charged with selling cocaine, possession of cocaine for the purpose of distribution, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Ramos was also taken into custody and charged with possession of cocaine.
