Police say teen committed four robberies and then wrecked car

Police say the teen hit another driver before losing control of the car he was driving and crashing.

SAN ANTONIO. San Antonio police said the 16-year-old robbed three people and then led the police on a chase before being found by a SAPD helicopter.

At around 6:30 a.m., the SAPD responded to the initial call to shoot, but during the course of the police investigation, it was discovered that it was a robbery. The suspect then committed two more robberies, reports SAPD.

When the minor was running away from the scene, he hit someone from the side, after which he lost control and crashed. He was detained by police in the 200th block of Carolina and Staffle.
