Police say driveway closed after train-vehicle collision in Daytona Beach
DAYTONA BEACH, Florida. – On Wednesday night, a train collided with a vehicle, blocking part of the roadway in Daytona Beach, according to the police department.
Police said officers were sent to West International Speedway along the railroad tracks east of South Charles Street around 8:15 p.m., police said.
The train collided with a vehicle on the road, but there were no reports of life-threatening injuries, police said.
Police told News 6 that the train could not move until the investigation was completed, although the intersection at Brentwood Drive and Orange Avenue was clear.

The investigation is ongoing. Police are urging drivers to stay away from the area.
