Police say an oncoming driver crashed at the I-10 exit at 610 West Loop following a chase.

HOUSTON – The police chase ended with the driver crashing his car on the 610 West Loop exit at the I-10 exit.

At around 3:50 p.m., officers initiated a vehicle traffic stop at the 7300 Longpoint block in Antoine, according to HPD.

The suspect sped away, leading the police on a 10-minute chase.

It is reported that during the chase, the suspect hit other cars.

The police continued to pursue the fleeing driver until he attempted to pull off the freeway in the wrong direction.

He later crashed his car.

It is not yet clear if the police have detained the suspect at this time.
