Police say a 17-year-old drowned in the ocean off a Brevard County beach.

INDIALANTIC, Florida. A teenage boy drowned in the ocean off the Brevard County beach on Sunday, according to the Indiananta Police Department.
Police said on Facebook they were looking for a 17-year-old boy who disappeared into the ocean near the West Crest boardwalk.
The Indian Police later released a message stating: “The subject has been located and unfortunately he has been declared deceased.”
Police said the Indian Fire Department, a helicopter from the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, Brevard County Lifeguards and air assets from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission assisted in the search.
No other information was provided.
