Police looking for suspect in DeLand bank robbery

DELAND, Florida. – The DeLand Police Department announced that detectives are looking for a suspect in a bank robbery that took place on Friday afternoon.

At 1:41 p.m., police responded to the PNC bank at 312 N. Woodland Blvd. after the robbery was reported, the agency said in a statement.

The publication shows that an unidentified person entered the bank and handed a note to the cashier shortly after leaving the bank with an unknown amount of cash.

There were no reports of injuries, but investigators released surveillance footage showing the man suspected of the robbery.
