Police investigate shooting in Lauderhill that leaves one dead

LOUDERHILL, Florida. (WSVN) — The Lauderhill Police Department is investigating a shooting that left one dead.

On Sunday, around 10:15 p.m., officers arrived in the area of ​​Northwest 46th Avenue, near 18th Avenue, following reports of a shooting with a victim.

After the police arrived at the scene, they found a man with obvious gunshot wounds on the ground floor of the building in front of the elevator.

The fire brigade soon arrived and pronounced the man dead.

It remains unclear what led to the shooting, but witnesses say they saw two black men in dark clothes flee the area after the shooting.
