Police investigate after body found near San Francisco ferry terminal

Police are investigating after a body was found in the water near a San Francisco ferry building on Sunday.

According to the San Francisco Police Department, they did not respond to the incident until after 10 am.

Officers, along with the San Francisco Fire Department, found the victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officials said a San Francisco medical examiner arrived at the scene and collected the body. They will lead the investigation.

Foul play is not suspected, the SFPD said.
