Police find murder suspect dead at Garland bike shop
Members of Garland’s SWAT unit went to serve a felony warrant at the suspect’s home and found him dead inside the home.
DALLAS. Garland police said they found a suspect in the murder of a bicycle shop employee dead in his home from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
A SWAT team went to the home of the suspect, 58-year-old Wesley Don-Joule, to serve a felony warrant, police said.
A bicycle shop employee found dead has been identified as 40-year-old James Owen Kenchelo of Mesquite. Don-Jole was a bicycle shop employee who worked with Kenchelow at the location.
Police said officers arrived just after 9 a.m. at Don Joel’s Bike World at 5513 Broadway Boulevard. were open.
The police entered the room and found a dead man inside. The man was identified as another employee.
According to the Garland police, there were no signs of forced entry. The death is being investigated as a homicide.
Police say investigators are not looking for anyone involved in the incident.
The investigation is ongoing, the department said.
