Police are looking for an 82-year-old man with dementia who went missing in Fort Lauderdale.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Florida. (WSVN) — Police are asking the public for help in the search for an 82-year-old man who went missing in the Fort Lauderdale area.

DeTurer Petty was last seen around 2:00 pm Friday near the 2400 block of NW 26th Avenue.

Petty’s name is Frank. He is lame and suffers from dementia.

He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, black and white plaid jacket, peach button-down shirt, and gray dress pants.

Petty is approximately 5’8″, weighs approximately 180 pounds, and has brown eyes, gray hair, and a gray beard.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact the local police station immediately.
