The driver did stop and remained on scene for the investigation by the Trenton Police Department.

In early September Trenton Cycling Revolution members & friends put up a ghost bike in honor of Thaddeus Peterson, a U.S. Marine veteran and lifelong Trentonian, who was killed riding his bike on North Olden Avenue not even a half mile from last night’s scene.

Trenton Cycling Revolution has been riding and advocating for safer roads in the City of Trenton.

If you are walking at nighttime, it is highly recommended to wear clothing with reflective material, not just bright colored clothing.
