Patrick Mahomes is already gearing up for his third Super Bowl in four years. And if that’s no indication of who the winner is, then look no further than the real estate portfolio he’s accumulated over the years.
The 27-year-old Kansas City Chiefs quarterback currently has a net worth of $8 million. He purchased four different properties.
Two houses in Missouri, one in a vacant lot in the state, and another that is probably considered his most valuable, is a mansion in Texas.
But there’s no denying that this is just the start of his real estate investment, if he continues like this. And he has enough funds for this.
In August 2020, Mahomes signed a 10-year, $503 million contract with the Chiefs.
Kansas City, Missouri – $350,000 condo
In December 2017, Mahomes bought his first home, a two-bedroom, three-bath apartment in Kansas City, for which he paid $125,000 less than the original asking price.
Initially listed for sale for $475,000, Mahomes was able to purchase the 1,800-square-foot site for $350,000. Today, its value is estimated at about half a million.

Mahomes briefly put the property up for sale in 2019 but later removed it.
Recognized as “the most beautiful apartment in the building at the best price”, it is the only apartment with an upper roof deck and a two-car garage.

In September 2020, Mahomes purchased an 8-acre piece of vacant land in Belton, through a private LLC, about a half-hour drive from Kansas City.
While the final sale price of what he paid remains a mystery, the property was last listed for $400,000. Although, judging by the way Mahomes made lucrative deals, it’s likely that he paid less than he asked for.
A year later, in 2021, Mahomes built a new house on the lot. He added a pool in 2022, property records show.

Mahomes secured a major deal with a four-bedroom, seven-bathroom mansion in Texas that he purchased from the estate of the late Andrew Gissinger III, a former San Diego Chargers pro football player who became president and chief operating officer. Home loan officer nationwide. Gissinger also ran a private equity firm.
It was originally listed for $4.26 million, but Mahomes was able to pay $3.37 million for it in March 2020 – $890,000 less than asked.
Mahomes lives in this house during the off-season. The quarterback who led his team to five consecutive AFC Championship games was born and raised in Texas and played football and baseball at Texas Tech University.
