Over 2,000 athletes compete at the 11th TYR Wodapalooza tournament at Bayfront Park.

MIAMI (WSVN). Some of the world’s best athletes are back in downtown Miami to show off their strength and endurance.

Over 2,000 athletes from 50 countries took part in the 11th annual TYR Wodapalooza tournament this weekend at Bayfront Park.

Men and women competed in the four-day CrossFit and Fitness competition.

“All the best athletes from all over the world are here. This is only a small part; the rest are the up-and-coming elite,” said Dylan Malitsky, vice president of Loud and Live Sports, “but what brings the elite back year after year is the $500,000+ prize pool. We have everyone involved in CrossFit.”
