Orlando leaders set to vote on downtown mobile food cart program

ORLANDO, Florida. – On Monday, Orlando leaders will vote on a program that will allow mobile food carts to operate throughout downtown.

The pilot program will allow 12 food carts to operate legally at 10 designated locations.

Currently, food carts are banned from the streets and sidewalks in downtown Orlando.

The new rules allow kiosks, like hot dog carts, to remain open from 6:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.

The meeting will take place on Monday at 14:00.
