The San Diego Venetian Pizzeria, which had been run by the same family for nearly seven decades, has now come under a new owner.
Venice Pizza House is a classic Italian-American restaurant founded in 1954 in San Diego’s City Heights neighborhood by Italian natives Sam and Prudy LoMedico. Second generation owners Joe and Mar LoMedico and their family have run the Italian diner for decades. After several difficult years of the pandemic, coupled with rising food prices and staff shortages, the family recently sold the restaurant.
The Venetian Pizzeria is located at 3333 El Cajon Boulevard in the City Heights neighborhood of San Diego. For more information, visit venicepizzahouse.com.
