NYPD seeks suspect in string of attacks on Hell’s Kitchen gay bar

The search for a suspect authorities believe might be responsible for a string of attacks on a Manhattan gay bar is ramping up with the NYPD releasing images and footage of the suspect Monday.

The Hell’s Kitchen spot, VERS, has been hit with at least three reported cases of criminal mischief over the last week, according to authorities.

The first reported incident occurred November 13 around 5:30 p.m. when an unidentified man chucked a brick into the front window and damaged it, the NYPD said.

Two days later, around 6:45 p.m., officers again responded to another report that an unknown man threw a brick at the window, again dinging it up, authorities said.

And then on Saturday close to 10 p.m., VERS’ window was again damaged when an unidentified man tossed a rock at the window, police said.

There were no reported injuries connected to any of the three incidents at the 9th Avenue location, cops said.

The window is shatterproof, the club’s owner told The Post Sunday.

“I thought about the glass when I first opened the space in July,” owner David DeParolesa said Sunday. “It doesn’t shatter, but it does crack.”

Police released images and footage of the man they are seeking walking in what appears to be a deli after the third incident. He’s seen wearing glasses with short hair.

Video provided to The Post Sunday shows a suspect throwing a heavy object at the window while patrons are inside before fleeing the scene.

“It feels like yet another manifestation of hate against our community,” DeParolesa said of the recent attacks on his gay bar.
