NYPD releases photos of man involved in shooting at deadly store

Cops are looking for a suspect in the murder of a man shot to death in a smokehouse in Harlem.

Police have released two photographs of a bearded man wanted for questioning in connection with the Feb. 11 murder of 42-year-old Alfred Johnson.

Johnson was fatally shot at Level Up Exotics, a smokehouse in Harlem near a busy intersection at 125th Street and Fifth Avenue shortly after 10 p.m., police and sources said.

Police said the doomed man was shot in the chest and neck and declared dead at a Harlem hospital.

A trail of blood was splattered on the sidewalk outside the Shake Shack across the street from the Level Up Exotics Cigarette Shop. The NYPD did not name a motive for the murder.

A series of shootings in the Big Apple smokehouses are forcing cops to ramp up resources to deal with what has become a “citywide problem,” The Post reported last week.

Police are asking anyone who may have seen the man to call their confidential hotline.
