Non-Profit Grieving Mothers Against Murder takes steps to stop gun violence

Fort Myers, Florida. A local nonprofit called Grieving Mothers Against Murder held an event at the STARS compound on Saturday to raise awareness of gun violence.

The group called the event “Hope Lives” and gathers to educate local children and families about the importance of getting guns off the streets and taking action to end gun violence.

The founders of the organization are mothers who have lost their own children due to armed violence. The event featured testimonies from families affected by gun violence.
