Nightclub incident with ex-Kylie Jenner Travis Scott: NYPD investigates alleged bar fight

The NYPD wants to interrogate rapper Travis Scott the alleged attack on a man in a nightclub in Manhattan became known to Fox News Digital.

“No one is wanted in relation to the incident at this time,” the NYPD said. “However, the investigation is ongoing.”

According to multiple reports, Scott allegedly got into a physical altercation with a sound engineer at a nightclub during a heated argument.

The 30-year-old man allegedly caused $12,000 in damage and reportedly damaged expensive audio equipment, including a speaker and a video screen in a nightclub.

Scott’s attorney, Mitchell Schuster, said in a statement: “While this is clearly a misunderstanding, fueled by clickbait and misinformation, we are actively working with the venue and law enforcement to resolve and rectify the situation. We are confident that our client will be cleared of any wrongdoing.”

Richie Romero, managing partner of Club Nebula, where the alleged incident took place, told Fox: “It’s completely disproportionate. It was a great night.”

Scott made a surprise appearance at the Don Toliver Show at Irving Plaza on Tuesday night.

Dorian Harrington, who invited Toliver to a party at Club Nebula, said: “This is a complete misunderstanding and what I saw on stage doesn’t match what I read on the news.”

Harrington was on stage with Scott during his surprise DJ set and said, “The music and the evening turned out great and everyone left peacefully.”

Scott, whose real name is Jacques Bermont Webster II, shares two children with reality TV star Kylie Jenner.

This latest news comes after the Goosebumps rapper made headlines around the world when his 2021 Astroworld Music Festival resulted in 10 deaths and hundreds of injuries.

10 victims died while reporting on the crowd surge at the Houston Music Festival.

According to Houston forensic documents obtained by Fox News Digital, the cause of death for all of the victims was listed as “compression asphyxia.” One victim had a cause of “combined toxic effects of cocaine, methamphetamine and ethanol”.

All deaths were considered accidental.

Scott and other members of the music festival have faced numerous lawsuits following the tragic incident.

After the traumatic events unfolded, Scott emphasized during a sit-down interview with Charlamagne Tha God that he was unaware of the seriousness of the crowd during the performance.

“I didn’t know the exact details until a few minutes before the press conference. [after my set]the rapper said. “And even at this moment you’re like, “Wait what?”

“People pass out, things happen at concerts, but something like that…” Scott said.
