New Yorker mortally wounded, son detained

On Friday, a Queens mother was fatally stabbed and now police have arrested her son, law enforcement sources told The Post.

The 59-year-old woman was found at 2:00 p.m. at a house in Flushing, lying face down on a bed with multiple stab wounds, police said.

The woman was rushed to New York Hospital Medical Center in Queens, but sources said she died from her injuries.

Sources said the woman’s 20-year-old son was taken into custody in connection with her death.

A knife was seized at the scene.
