New York traffic police allegedly robbed with a knife in the subway after hours

Police said an NYPD traffic agent on duty was robbed on a train in Brooklyn Thursday morning.

The 38-year-old was riding a northbound L train at the Sutter Avenue station in Brownsville around 11:15 a.m. when he was approached by five suspects, one with a knife, police said.

According to police, the scammers fled with the agent’s iPhone and wallet.

No injuries were reported.

The suspects fled, and by noon no one had been arrested.
