Napa thief stole van with 10 wild cats inside

An animal welfare organization in Napa is working to clean up the theft of a van with 10 cats inside.

The main van, which the Whiskers, Tails and Ferals use to transport animals, was stolen around 11 p.m. Sunday night.

Surveillance footage shows the man pulling up on his bike, connecting the van in a few minutes, and then driving away.

What he may not have realized is that 10 feral cats were carefully captured by volunteers who neutered and neutered and cared for the animals.

“It’s really heartbreaking, you know? said Genevieve DiGiulio, Whiskers Tails and Ferals volunteer. “The main reason we do this is to protect and care for animals, and to stop the introduction of wild animals. The trapper had a very hard time. They were out in the wind and rain last night and found them.

Whiskers Tails and Ferals is asking the public to keep an eye out for a wagon or traps that may have been dropped somewhere.

If you see them, you are asked to dial 911.
