Planning to spend time (or a party) with friends before you tie the knot?

To commemorate National Wedding Month, Lawn Love has been ranked #1 for Best Bachelorette Destinations 2023.

The lawn care company surveyed more than 500 American adults about their bachelorette party experiences — with statistics on trip attendance, budget, and destination. They then compared the 200 largest US cities by looking at their attractions, restaurants, nightlife and spas. The company also looked at security, cost and transportation options among 21 overall metrics.

Here’s a list of the best and worst bachelorette party destinations, and it’s no surprise that Miami and Las Vegas are still top picks.

For beach lovers

For those planning a trip to Miami, Lawn Love offers Magic City for a colorful and glamorous getaway.

The area offers “lots of nightlife options, bars and liquor stores per square mile (proximity matters if you’re planning on going to bars),” Lone Love said.

But if drinking and dancing isn’t exactly your cup of tea when it comes to girls’ getaways, Miami also has a very lively art scene, luxurious spas, and “the most restaurants per square mile.”

Fort Lauderdale, nicknamed the “Venice of America”, is second only to Miami in the number of nightclubs and is a luxury vacation destination in its own right.

If the bride loves food and considers herself a wine connoisseur, consider the West Coast for a pre-wedding getaway, according to data compiled by Lawn Love.

San Francisco (No. 3), Portland, Oregon (No. 7), or Seattle (No. 9) are among the top 10 places to eat.

San Francisco tops the list with “the second highest number of restaurants per square mile and also has great access to beer. Golden City is known for its delicious treats, from pastries to sandwiches, chocolate and more.”

Seattle ranked second behind San Francisco in terms of bars per square mile and third in terms of wineries. And in Portland, you’ll find plenty of places to quench your thirst, plenty of bars and wineries to keep you and your friends busy.

As an added bonus, all three destinations also have great brunch options.

For the bride’s party

For brides who really love to party and want to sing and dance from the heart before their wedding, consider these places.

New Orleans, Louisiana and Nashville, Tennessee are known for hosting many rowdy bachelorette parties.

New Orleans has a variety of bars and clubs and is considered the second best brunch city to cure the inevitable hangover.

And if you love to sing, there are plenty of karaoke bars in Nashville, and you can even rent a bike bar to ride your bike along the Honky Tonk Highway with friends.

Other fun cities to consider are Savannah, Georgia and Scottsdale, Arizona, according to data from Lawn Lover.

With more parties, Lawn Lover says there are some safety concerns to consider.

While it’s fun, places like Nashville, Scottsdale, and New Orleans can be an unsafe environment for party goers, as they rank low on the “walking score” according to Lawn Lover. The walk rating basically means that it can be difficult for visitors to find their way back to their hotels after a long night of fun.

For the modest bride

If you’re not the type to party all night and drink your fill, consider small towns for a quirky getaway with friends.

While they rank low among the best bachelorette party destinations, places like Waco, Texas and Charleston, South Carolina are actually beautiful and are some of the most laid-back places to celebrate when you’re dealing with a busy day. wedding day planning.

Places like Huntsville, Alabama offer interesting options for group outings such as a botanical garden, museums, and even several wineries.
