Murder Suspects Nabbed in East San Antonio

Two men have been charged with capital murder in connection with the alleged attempted robbery turned murder of a 30-year-old Adkins resident. According to authorities from Bexar County, Texas, the suspects, identified as 26-year-old Malyk Jason and 20-year-old Seth Little, were planning to steal drugs from the victim, Corwin Davis, when they killed him. Officials have stated that more people may have been involved in the incident.

On May 3, 2022, deputies responded to the incident site in the 11704 block of Loop 107, located about 15 miles east of downtown San Antonio. When they arrived, they found Davis and a woman who had thankfully remained uninjured. Preliminary investigations indicate that several suspects, wearing ski masks and all black clothing, arrived at the rural residence with the intention of stealing marijuana and cash from Davis. However, things soon took a dark turn when shots were fired, ultimately resulting in Davis’ death.

Though authorities do not believe that the suspects knew Davis, they have stated that they are searching for at least three other individuals believed to have been involved. Sheriff Javier Salazar urged these individuals to come forward and assist in the investigation. However, he also warned that if they did not, the authorities would be forced to consider them suspects in the criminal investigation.

Investigators developed critical trace evidence found at the scene, which eventually led to the charges against Jason and Little. The accused parties were already in custody on unrelated charges when they were charged with capital murder.
