MPs: Soledad man arrested on suspicion of kidnapping and raping a drugged victim in 2021.

KING CITY, Calif. (KION-TV) — The Monterey County Sheriff’s Office said they arrested a man Monday for alleged drug use and rape of a victim in May 2021.

On May 15, 2021 at 5:09 am, investigators responded to Natividad Medical Center on reports of a possible victim who was drugged and sexually assaulted. The incident allegedly took place at a remote location in an unincorporated area outside of Gonzalez.

Investigators had good reason to believe that the suspect was 21-year-old Uri Deleon Carcamo from Soledad. Detectives then obtained several search warrants from a Monterey County Superior Court judge.
