Monterey Bay FC partners with KION for 2023 season

Seaside, CA (KION-TV) – Crisp and Kelp will be coming to KION TV in the 2023 season!

Monterey Bay Football Club and KION have agreed to broadcast all 17 regular season home games on Wednesday.

“We are very pleased to cooperate with KION. From day one, our goal has been to find a local broadcast partner,” said Monterey Bay Football Club President Mike DiGiulio. “This deal allows our fans to come to the Cardinale stadium to see the game live and also watch the match on local TV if they can’t see it. When KION approached us with a desire to partner, we knew this was a great opportunity to deepen the connection within our community as we continue to expand our brand.”

The club’s sophomore campaign will air on either The CW or FOX. The team’s first game of the season on March 4 against the Sacramento Republic will air on The CW.

“We’re thrilled to have Monterey Bay FC games on local TV for the first time,” said Kristy Santiago, general manager of KION. “This season we will be airing home games on FOX 35 or Central Coast CW. Everyone can enjoy watching local professional football at KION.”
