Money20/20, the world’s leading fintech event, taking place in Las Vegas, will kick off this week with a show-stopping line-up of inspirational speakers, including Dave Salvant, Co-Founder and President of Squire; Jackie Reses, Chair & CEO of Lead Bank; Julie Loeger, Chief Growth Officer at eBay; and investor and tennis legend, Serena Williams.

Recently announced, the 23-time grand slam champion, global tennis megastar and venture capitalist will join J.P. Morgan’s Global Head of Payments, Takis Georgakopoulos and Money20/20’s Chief Strategy & Growth Officer Scarlett Sieber for a fireside chat at this year’s Money20/20. Her talk: ‘Match Point: Fueling Innovation and the Future of Payments’ will be focused on her venture capitalist firm Serena Ventures, following her recent retirement from tennis. The discussion will cover Digital Identity, Web3 and the creator economy’s entry into the world of e-commerce marketplaces as well as reflections on the importance of prioritizing diversity of people and of thought in the pursuit of excellence.

Taking on the main stage on October 24, for a session entitled ‘Leading Through Adversity with Derek Jeter & Allyson Felix are Entrepreneur, Philanthropist and National Baseball Hall of Fame Inductee Derek Jeter, Most Decorated Track and Field U.S. Olympian and President of Saysh, Allyson Felix, alongside Mark Sullivan, EVP, Financial Services, from Salesforce.

As a seven-time U.S. Olympic gold medalist, Allyson Felix is the most decorated American Track & Field Olympian of all time. Last year, she also announced the launch of her lifestyle brand Saysh, which raised a series A round of funding led by Gap Inc.’s Athleta division. Felix previously became Athleta’s first sponsored athlete in 2019, after leaving Nike over a dispute about maternity protections for future Nike-sponsored mothers. Felix also committed to donating her winnings from last year’s U.S. Olympic Trials and Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games to Right to Play, a humanitarian organization that seeks to increase sports access in disadvantaged areas around the world.

In a left-field contrast to our roster of sporting legends, Keynote Speaker, Best Selling Author and Entrepreneur Molly Bloom will present ‘A Game of Calculated Chance’.

Molly Bloom is a top inspirational keynote speaker, entrepreneur, and bestselling author of Molly’s Game. Her memoir was adapted into an award-winning film by Aaron Sorkin. Bloom has appeared on numerous shows and in media outlets such as Ellen, Vice, The Los Angeles Times, NPR, Vulture, and has been asked to speak at Fortune’s Most Powerful Women. Molly was also an Olympic Skier hopeful and made it into the Top 3 of the US Ski Team, but was injured during qualifying.
