Missing children, kidnapper found at Florida grocery store, police say

HIGH SPRINGS, Florida. “According to the police, two children abducted 11 months ago in Missouri were in a Florida grocery store.

Brooke and Adrian Gilley went missing on March 15, 2022, and police believed they were with their mother, out of custody, Christy Nicole Gilley.

High Springs police said they located the children and their abductor after a routine vehicle check that showed the owner of the vehicle was a fugitive.

According to the agency’s social media post, the three were shopping at Winn Dixie and had their identities masked when High Springs Police Department officers discovered them.

Police said Gilley, 36, was detained and arrested on a valid kidnapping warrant in Clay County, Missouri.

According to police, the two children have been handed over to the Florida Department of Children and Families and will be reunited with their biological family.
