Melbourne Marine accused of sexually assaulting teenager
BREWARD COUNTY, Florida. – A US Marine was arrested Tuesday after sexually beating a teenager, according to the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office.
According to an arrest affidavit, 31-year-old Eric Zayas Navarro, a Marine from Melbourne, was arrested on Tuesday after the offense came to light on Feb. 10.
Although few details about what happened were made public, the affidavit states that the victim was between 16 and 17 years old.

Zayas Navarro faces charges of using a two-way communication device to facilitate a criminal offense, using a computer to lure a child, and seven counts of sexual assault.
On Wednesday, he was released on $112,000 bail.
