Matlacha Hookers help out after Hurricane Jan

ST. JAMES CITY, Florida. On Tuesday morning, a dedicated group of women were back at work to help their community.

They have been useful for decades, and since Hurricane Yang devastated Pine Island, they have helped so many people, but the cleanup process is far from complete.

That’s why the prostitutes of Matlach clean York Road in St. James City, picking up nails and screws on the road. This is just a small part of what they do to help their community.

Immediately after the storm hit, they worked to find a barge to deliver gas to people stranded by the collapse of the Matlacha bridge. Some participants physically walked with generators on impassable roads to deliver them to elderly people who need help, and this is just the tip of the iceberg.

This group was formed back in 1998 and currently has about 200 members and they wish there were more. If you want to know more about Matlach prostitutes and their work, Click here.
