Mass shooting in Crescent Bay: how to help

As we all become aware of the mass shooting at Half Moon Bay that left seven people dead and one injured, members of the community are mobilizing to help those affected. Below is a working list of resources to support victims and their families. We will continue to update it as the situation develops. Funds for victims

Ayudando Latinos A Soñar, or ALAS, is raising funds to support the farm worker community in Half Moon Bay and those who have lost their lives. You can make a donation here.

Vigil

Date and time: Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at 6:00 pm

Location: Coastal Lutheran Church – 900 Cabrillo Highway North, Half Moon Bay

Description: On Tuesday evening at 6:00 pm, an interdenominational prayer and weeping service will be held at the Coastal Lutheran Church. The community is invited to come to mourn the dead and pray for the healing of the wounded and for peace.

Memorial

The memorial is set up at Mac Dutra Plaza on Main Street in Half Moon Bay and everyone is welcome.
