Man tells minibus driver he killed someone: TCSO

The bus driver called 911 after a man told her he had killed someone, the Travis County Sheriff’s Office said.

Alian Shamar Morrison Davis, 20, of Pflugerville, is in custody and charged with murder. Bail had not been set as of noon on January 14th.

TCSO reports that just after 7:30 p.m. on Friday, January 13, deputies answered a call about a social security check on the 2800 block of Linville Ridge Lane in Pflugerville. The caller to 911 was the bus driver who reported that the man approached her car and told her to leave because he had killed someone.

The deputies arrived, entered the house and found a man in his 20s with gunshot wounds, dead on the bathroom floor. The person who had spoken to the bus driver was no longer there.

Detectives began collecting evidence and questioning people connected to the victim and identified Davis as a suspect. The detective was able to contact Davis, who turned himself in and confessed to the shooting.

The identity of the victim will not be released until the Travis County Medical Examiner identifies her and notifies next of kin.
