Man stabbed after argument between couple escalates, police say

In the early hours of Sunday morning, a dispute between a man and a woman in the Union Park Apartments on the southeast side of San Antonio turned violent. The man was taken to the hospital after the woman drew a knife and stabbed him, according to the police.

Authorities were alerted to the incident at approximately 3:21 am when they received reports of a cut in progress. Upon arriving at the scene, officers found the victim with a stab wound to his arm. It is said that the woman drew a knife during a confrontation, reportedly due to feeling scared, and used it to inflict harm.

Currently, the victim is in stable condition and is receiving treatment at the Brooke Army Medical Center. However, police report that the man has a different version of events, which they intend to investigate further. The pair’s relationship status is unclear, but both have reportedly offered different accounts of their connection.

Detectives plan to question the woman involved and she may potentially face serious charges. Officials have not released any additional information regarding the incident, nor have they indicated if there were any other injuries.
