Man searched for woman to take off pants in elevator and hit her in the head: NYPD

NYPD are looking for a man they say stalked and robbed a 19-year-old girl at an apartment building in the Bronx Wednesday night at around 9 p.m.

Officials received word that an unidentified man followed the victim into a building near West 164th Street and Woodcrest Avenue.

According to the NYPD, the suspect entered the building’s elevator with the victim, demanding that she take off her pants. Presumably, the man took away the mobile phone from the victim, hit her on the head with his fist and, when the elevator went up to the 6th floor of the building, threw the mobile phone into the hall.

The man then reportedly fled the building and the victim was treated on the spot with minor head injuries.

The NYPD said the man was “last seen wearing a blue hoodie, black hat, black pants, black and blue sneakers, and carrying a black cane.”
