Man found dead outside Riverhead Deli, authorities say

According to the Riverhead Police Department, on the morning of Tuesday, February 14, employees of the establishment, who arrived at work, were found dead near the Express Deli & Café on Osborne Avenue.

Police were called at approximately 3:30 am to report a dead man, identified as Alberto Muñoz Noy, 44, who was found slumped against the deli’s front exterior wall.

Paramedics quickly rushed the man to Peconick Bay Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, officials said.

Authorities are currently unaware of any foul play, but the investigation is ongoing. Riverhead Police are asking anyone with information to call 631-727-4500.
