Llano County Sheriff’s Office investigates double homicide

The Llano County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an early morning double homicide.

At around 4:49 a.m. on January 14, the LCSO received a 911 call about multiple gunshot victims at a house on Airport Road in Tow, Texas.

The deputies who came to the rescue found two people at the entrance to the house, both with gunshot wounds. The two, identified as Preston Wessling, 38, and Evan Wessling, 14, were pronounced dead at the scene.

The LCSO says 911 received a call about multiple shots in the same area just after 1:00 a.m. on the same day. At present, officials say it is unclear if the two incidents are related.

The Llano County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone who may have information about who committed this crime or may have seen or heard anything to contact the Llano County Sheriff’s Office at 325-247-5767. The case is being investigated by the Llano County Sheriff’s Office, the Texas Rangers and the District Attorney’s Office.
